In last few years we are almost habituated to see a Salman Khan blockbuster on the occasion of Eid and this year is also not an exception. This time we have "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" as Salman Bhaijaan's gift to his fans on this Eid. But if you are expecting yet another commercial entertainer from the superstar then you are wrong , this time it is quite different from all recent Salman hits. Here you wont find any forced action sequences where hero will rip off his shirt and flex his muscles. Here you wont find any Item number. Here you wont find any one liners for ceetis and taalis from front benchers. But still you will enjoy the film as you will get a heart touching story that will connect with your emotions, you will get some brilliant performances, you will get a message to help human being beyond of any religion or borders.
The story begins with little Shahida(Harshali Malhotra), a 6 years old Pakistani mute girl ,
who gets lost from her mother in India while returning to her country from Nizamuddin Dargah in India. Her destiny brings her to Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi (Salman Khan) , a die hard Bajrangabali Bhakt from Delhi. Pawan is a very kind hearted person, who never lies or takes any wrong way. When he comes to know about Shahida's helpless condition he decides to bring her to her parents even without knowing her original name, religion and residence. Pawan has his own problems as he is struggling to make a future to settle down with his school teacher girlfriend Rasika (Kareena Kapoor Khan) , but after meeting with the baby whom Pawan named as Munni, their first priority becomes Munni. It took some time for Pawan and Rasika to know the truth of Munni, that
she is from Pakistan. Once Pawan comes to know that, he decides to send Munni to Pakistan first using some official and unofficial way but once he fails he decides to take Munni to Pakistan on his own. From here starts his journey in Pakistan where he meets lots of people some good, some bad , and ultimately he succeeds to in his mission. On his mission he meets Chand Nawaz (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) a struggling journalist from Pakistan , who helps him in his mission and also helps him to come back to India.
From the very first reel we are pretty much clear where the story is heading but still the
screenplay penned by Kabir Khan, Parveez Shaikh and V. Vijayendra Prasad , makes it an engaging watch. Though the first half is a bit slow specially because of the irrelevant romantic track of Pawan and Rasika, but still it has some really funny moments; the way Pawan and Rasika finds Munni's interest about Chicken over vegetarian food or her interest for Mosque over temple. This sensitive issues has been handled quite well in a light hearted manner. The main story picks up in the second half when Pawan lands in Pakistan and Chand joins him. From this point their journey is really worth watching the way these three persons bonds with each other will make you laugh and cry with them. Towards the climax it turns out to too much melodramatic but by that time you are already in love with Pawan , Munni and Chand so it will bring tears to your eyes. The climax scene delivers a wonderful message of brotherhood between two countries very well.
As a director Kabir Khan has done a wonderful job. He has delivered a wonderful message without compromising the entertainment values. His direction shows how well he can blend commercial masala with realism. It is no doubt his best work as a director.
It is definitely one of the best film from Salman Khan as an actor. He has played a different
role after a long time. He has executed the character of innocent , Hanuman bhakt Pawan, quite well. Every time he tells the story of how he came to Pakistan will surely make you laugh. Also during the climax he will make you teary eyed. After a long time he has been presented not as a star rather as an actor.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui who comes in the movie around after 100 minutes will win your heart from the very first scene where he tries to recreate a famous YouTube video about a Pakistani reporter who is trying to present a news at a railway platform but getting interrupted every time from the passerby's. Once again he has proved that he is a complete natural actor who can make you laugh and cry without doing any kind of over acting. Watch out him in the sequence where he is narrating the story of Bajrangi Bhaijaan on Youtube , it will surely bring lumps in your throat.
Kareena Kapoor Khan now a days appears in just small roles and item songs in big budget movies. She is doing the same in this movie too. She has a very small role as Rasika , Pawan's love interest. But still in her small screen time she has impressed with her expressive eyes and proved that she is still capable of handling better roles.
But in spite of the presence of all senior heavy weight actors little Harshali Malhotra is the show steal-er as the cute Munni aka Shahida. She has a charming innocent face which makes you fall in love with her from the first scene itself but as the story progresses you will realize what a good performer she is. As per her character she has no dialogues throughout the whole movie and she has to enact her part only through her expressions which is very challenging for even grown ups but this little wonder has done that so easily.
Among the rest of the cast it can be said all has done a good supporting jobs including some good cameos from Rajesh Sharma and Om Puri in the second half. Special mention should be given for Meher Vij who has made her presence felt in just two three scenes as Shahida's mother.
Among the technical team it can be said the cinematography by Aseem Mishra is very eye catchy , he has shot the valleys of Kashmir superbly. The editing could have been done a bit better and the length could have been reduced by some 10-15 minutes especially in the first half. The production design by Acropolis is very good.
After a long time Pritam has made a comeback as a composer. His songs are good and the "Selfi" song and "Bhar De Jholi" are already popular. The rest of the songs has been used quite well in the background and goes well with the story on screen.
Overall "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is a movie which worth a watch by whole family. It gives you entertainment as well as good message about human bonding. There are loop holes but that can be overlooked.Watch it else you will miss one of the best films of recent times.
For Bengali movies the second quarter of 2015 was not so good , it has very few successful films in comparison to the large number of flops. Mostly the hardcore commercial films failed to attract audiences. Only the month of may was quite good in this quarter.
Lets have a month-wise recap of the second quarter.
April
The month of April began with Abhijit Guha and Sudeshna Roy directed comedy "Bitnoon".
It was a comedy about extra marital affairs ,featuring very dependable actors like Rittwick
Chakraborty and Gargi Roychoudhury. But the story and screenplay were not so funny to create any magic at the ticket windows.
The next big release of this month was from Venkatesh films , "Amanush 2". This Soham and Payel starer was released on the auspicious occasion of Poila Boishakh. The film was obviously a South Indian remake but its treatment was quite different from regular commercial mainstream films as a result it could not match the expectation from the audiences. Although people appreciated Soham Chakraborty's performance but finally it was a flop.
Overall this month was not a good one for the Bengali Film industry.
MAY
The month of May started with two Big releases Srijit Mukherjee's "Nirbaak" and Shiboprasad-Nadita's "Belasheshe". Both the movies had created good pre-release buzz mostly because of the successful past record of the directors.
"Nirbaak" , directed by Srijit Mukherjee was the most experimental film from the director so far. It was about four love stories connected together with a common theme of silence. The film got a good opening because of the expectations but after watching it, audience had mixed reaction. Some people liked the experimental step taken by the director while others were disappointed from this. On the final run though film got good response from critics but at the box office it did not performed well specially comparing to the previous success record of the director. The performances by Anjan Dutta, Ritwick Chakraborty , Jishu Sengupta and Susmita Sen were appreciated very much.
"Belasheshe" was yet another gem from the director duo Shiboprasad Mukherjee and
Nandita Roy. Just like their previous films there was no big stars rather the story was the main hero of the film. The story was an unconventional tale about the bonding of post marital relationship. It was a mix of humor and emotion that touched the heart of critics and audiences. In the lead role Soumitra Chatterjee and Swatilekha Sengupta did a wonderful job. In the supporting cast Kharaj Mukherjee and Rituparna Sengupta were quite impressive.
Overall the positive feedback worked really well for the film and it became a winner at the box office. It is still running in theaters completing successful 75 days.
The third release of this month was yet another winner, it was Suman Ghosh directed "Kadambori" featuring very talented Konkona Sensharma in the Title role. This movie was a period piece based on the controversial relationship between Rabindranath Tagore and his sister-in-law Kadambori Devi. The movie was quite authentic in its presentation and the performance by Konkona was too good. All these worked for this film and it became successful at the box office.
There was a commercial entertainer from venkatesh films "Jamai 420". It was a multi starer comedy which was released during the occasion of Jamai Shahsthi. It did quite an average business at the box office.
The last release of this month was Mainak Bhaumick's "Family Album" featuring Swastika Mukherjee and Paoli dam in the lead roles. It was dealing with the bold subject of lesbian relationship but neither the content nor the bold presentation did any wonder for the movie and it failed to impress the audiences.
June
The month of June was very bad for the industry. Not a single movie did fare business
at the box office.
Considering the commercial point of view only big release was "Roga Hoar Sahaj Upay"featuring Parambrato Chatterjee and Sen sisters Riya and Raima. But this movie failed badly at the box office.
Only film that got good response at least from the critics and festivals that was "Asha Jaoar Majhe" featuring very talented Ritwick Chakraborty and Basabdutta Chatterjee. This film won several awards in different categories at different International film festivals.
But unfortunately this film did not got a proper commercial release and could not became a box office winner.

The second quarter of 2015 was much better than the first quarter in terms of box office business. There was the first 100cr film of this year in this quarter. Mostly small budget movies made it big with their wonderful content.
Lets have a quick month wise recap of the Hindi movies in second quarter of 2015.
April
This month was quite low at box office in comparison to the last two months of the 2nd quarter.
The first big release of April was "Detective Byomkesh Bakshy" , a detective thriller directed by Dibakar Banerjee and produced by Yashraaj Films. Everybody was eagerly waiting for the film because of the director and production house. Another attraction was of course Sushant Singh Rajput in the title role. The film got a good opening but the mixed reaction from critics as well as from the audiences limited its final run at the box office to just near about 26 crores.
Another big movie of this month was Sunny Leone starer "Ek Paheli Leela". It had a good
enough dose of adult entertainment provided by the leading lady of course and also the music was quite good and popular, all these factors worked for the movie and it helped the movie to gain around 26 crores which is big enough for such a small movie.
There were several other releases including Paresh Rawal's religion confusion drama "Dharam Shankat Me", Emraan Hashmi's invisible act in "Mr. X" and Kalki Koechlin starer festival favorite "Margarita With A Straw". None of these movies can bring any luck to box office.
May
The month of May got a good start with Akshay Kumar's "Gabbar Is Back". With the star power of Akshay Kumar this movie got a business of 40 crore in first weekend and a overall collection of around 86 crore. As a result it became Akshay Kumar's second hit in a row this year.
The success of "Gabbar" was followed by a small sweet and simple film about a father daughter relationship "Piku". It was directed by Shoojit Sirkar and the main cast has three talented actors Amitabh Bachchan, Irrfan and Deepika Padukone. The heart touching emotions, simple story telling , funny dialogues and wonderful acting by the whole cast made this film a favorite among audiences as well as critics. As a result in spite of getting only 5 crore opening it earned a total of around 80 crores at the box office and became a big hit.
The third successful film of this month was "Tanu Weds Manu Returns", the sequel to the
2011 rom-com. This time they back with the same team but with more humor and more entertainment. The acting by Kangana Ranaut in her double role grabs everyone's attention.
This movie was loved so much by the audience and critics that it became the first 100 cr hit of this year and the biggest hit so far with a collection of 150 crore.
There were some disasters in this month like Sunny Leone's adult comedy "Kuchh Kuchh Locha Hai" and Vasu Bhagnani's yet another attempt to relaunch his son Jacky, "Welcome To Karachi". But the biggest disaster of this month and probably of this year was "Bombay Velvet", the dream project of Anurag Kashyap featuring big stars like Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.
June
The month of June started with a much awaited film "Dil Dhadakne Do" directed by Zoya Akhtar. This was a multi starer which was dealing about the problems of a super rich family.
The film got a good start mostly because of the high level expectations but later the collections kept dropping as it was not up to the mark with the sky high expectations. Still it worked and became an average earner with around 76 crore , mostly because of the performances by Anil kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh.
The second release was "Hamari Adhuri Kahani" , yet another movie with high expectations because of the last big hit by the director Mohit Suri. Unfortunately this time Mohit could not create the magic at the Box office with this romantic movie. It also proves that both Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan have lost the golden touch at the box office.
The third release was "ABCD2" , the sequel to the sleeper hit "ABCD". This 3D dance drama
got the highest opening day collections of 2015 and became much bigger hit than the first part. Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor were once again proved lucky at the box office. The wonderfully choreographed dance sequences worked in favor of the movie and it became a hit with a collection of around 90 crores in just two weeks. even there is a possibility that it can enter in 100 cr club.
On a whole the second quarter have provided some good movies and good amount of money at the box office. We are hopeful about the next quarter which have some big releases lined up to release specially in July on Eid.

Three years ago Ace choreographer Remo D'souza had made India's first dance film that too in 3D taking no big stars but only genuine dancers from reality TV show, and we got a surprise hit ABCD. Being overwhelmed with the surprise success of the movie the same production house and director's team is back once again with its sequel ABCD2. This time it has bigger stars, big sets, larger scale dance performances, larger scale of technology, but the only thing which lacks this time is a story about the bonding of the characters of a dance troupe.
The story is loosely based on the struggle of Suresh and Vernon from Mumbai who made a dance group and became the finalists of big Hip-Hop competition at Las Vegas. The story
starts with a dance competition where Suresh(Varun Dhawan) and his dance group are disqualified for the charges of copying the dance steps from an Youtube video.Very soon Suresh decides to reform his team and to take part in world dance competition for Hip-Hop with his team including his lady love Vinni(Shraddha Kapoor). Very soon they find a mentor in the form of Vishnu Sir (Prabhu Deva). Later their team is joined by other DID stars Dharmesh and Punit(Who were there in the first part too). As expected they win the competition at India level and went to Las Vegas for the world level competition. Here after having some predictable twist and turns, the too much predicable story reaches to its finale after a long 155 minutes.
Overall the story has nothing new to offer. Even the screenplay is also weak and cliche, there is hardly any interaction between the characters specially in the first half. It seems while
writing the screenplay the main motive was to insert song and dance one after another. At one point it may look like you are watching Dance reality show videos on Youtube one after another. Although there is a twist just before the interval which is good. In the second half the story is better than the first half but towards the end again song and dance keeps popping up one after another in a very short gap, which makes the film even lengthier in running time.
But in spite of this if the film grabs your attention that is solely because of the brilliantly choreographed dance sequences , which have been performed by equally brilliant dancers.
As a director Remo D'souza had nothing much to do , rather it was just choreographing more dance sequences for him and he has successfully done that.
Varun Dhawan has proved he is one the finest dancers of today's generation. He shines with his moves even in the group of professional dancers. Shraddha Kapoor too surprises with her wonderful dance moves. She has maintained really well in the group dances, also she impresses in her solo dance in "Sun Sathiya" song. Prabhu Deva once again proved his dancing abilities with his high energy which is hard to match by the other actors who are of half of his age.
The other actors who are mostly professional dancers have danced really well and provided good support in acting department too.
Among the technical team it can be said the cinematography is very nice. The picturisation of the dance sequences is breath taking. The editing could have been much sharper and its length could have been reduced by at least 20 minutes.
Provided it is dance film the music by Sachin-Jigar is not that impressive. The only two songs which are good are the original songs from the first part that is "Bezubaan" and "Sun Sathiya". The other songs have no potential which will make you remember those when you will be out of the theaters.
Overall ABCD2 is a movie which is only about dancing. The story is weaker, the emotion and humor quotient is much less than the first part. But the dance is bigger and better here. So if you love dance then it is a must watch for you.
In 2011 an almost unknown director Anand L Rai made a film that changes the convention of regular Hindi film heroine with the funny bindaas character of Tanuja Trivedi. The film was a sleeper hit. Now after four years when they are back with the sequel by this time Anad L Rai is no more an unknown director and Kangna Ranaut is now at par with the big Bollywood heroines. So obviously there is more expectations with the film and the good news is this actually fulfills all the expectations as it is better than its prequel.
Like a true sequel it starts with the point from where the first movie was ended which was
marriage of Tanu(Kangna Ranaut) and Manu (R. Madhavan). Then the story moves forward four years and it shows how the post marital life of Tanu and Manu is not so happy. They are going through a bad phase of post marital life which turns out so bad that the situation goes to divorce. In this moment both of them gets separated and try to find some refreshment in their monotonous life. While Tanu tries to patch up with her ex-lover Raja Awashthi(Jimmy Shergil) , Manu finds a young haryanvi college student Datto (Kangna Ranaut) who is a look alike of Tanu with a small change in teeth setting and hair style.
The situation becomes more complicated when Manu falls in love once gain and decides to marry with Datto. Now Tanu wants to go back to her husband while , her husband Manu
wants to move on with Datto and it creates a love triangle. What happens at the end is a bit predictable but still its engaging.
There are other interesting characters too who are back from the first part like Manu and Tanu's parents and their friends Jassi(Eizaz Khan) , Payel(Swara Bhaskara) and Puppy Jee(Deepak Dobriyal). All of them adds more interest to the drama along with new added characters like Chintu (Mohd. Zeeshan Ayub).
The screenplay written by Himangshu Sharama is a winner once again. The small town background and the characters are very much interesting. The story unfolds very well and adds too much humor in the first half. The second half looks a bit stretched specially because of too much songs still it does not dampen the spirit of the film because by that time the audience is already in love with the characters.
The dialogues written by Sharma are extraordinary, its hilarious and keeps the story interesting.
As a director Anand L Rai has done an excellent job. His story telling is very engaging and all the characters have been presented superbly so that all of them will be loved by the audiences.
Among the star cast every one is superb but who steals the show is none other than the queen of Bollywood Kangana Ranaut. It is one of the finest job in Bollywood by any actor
in a double role. The way she has portrayed the characters of Tanu and Datto will make you speechless. Both the characters are so distinct in mannerism , body language, dialogue delivery that it never looks like a single actress has played both the characters. While the old charming Tanu is still endearing its Datto the national level athlete from Haryana who will make you fall in love with her.
R. Madhavan has under played the character of Dr. Manu Sharma very well. His character ranges from a frustrated husband too a confused lover and he has portrayed all the emotions perfectly.
Another actor who deserves a special mention is Deepak Dobriyal as Puppy jee the sidekick of Manu. His comic timing is just superb. Every time he comes on screen he brings laughter on audience's faces. Jimmy Shergil is also impressive as Raja Awashthi. his punch lines have solid impression.
The music is not so strong here. Only song that works is "Banno" , the rest of the songs are just okay. And it has to be said there is a overdose of songs in second half which makes the film look a bit stretched in last few minutes, so the songs do not work much in the movie.
Among the technical team who deserves special mention are Hemal Kothari for his sharp editing , Chirantan Das for the superb camera work and Wasiq Khan for his authentic production design.The costumes for Kangna, designed by Reza Shariffi is stylish and goes very well with the character.
Overall it is an engaging film about post marital relationship with lots of humor and some emotional moments. Go and have fun with the gang of wonderful actors lead by Miss Ranaut in her two avatars.
So far so many stories has been written, told and even pictured in films about the controversial and much talked about relationship between Rabindranath Tagore and his sister-in-law Kadambari Devi , wife of Jyotirindranath Thakur. But what makes director Suman Ghosh's latest film "Kadambari" different from the already told stories is that it has been told with the point of view of Kadambari ,not through the eyes of more popular personality Rabindranath Thakur. It is about Kadambari, her life in Jorasanko thakurbari, her love, her anger, her passion, her loneliness , her pain.
The story starts with small girl Kadambari's entry at Jorasanko Thakurbari after her
marriage with Jyotirindranath Thakur. At this young age little Kadambari tries her best to fit at her husband's house as a good housewife but her young mind is in search of a friend with whom she can enjoy her childhood and she found that friend in her young brother-in-law Rabi. Soon Kadambari and Rabindranath finds good friend in each other as young kids. But with their growing age the equations between them keeps changing. When grown they grow up, Rabindranath finds his inspiration in Kadambari for writing but Kadambari starts developing soft corner for Rabindrandranath. Though in their relationship , they never crossed their limits it was just a mutual respect and affection for each other. But with the growing popularity of Rabindranath , Kadambari starts feeling insecure about loosing her only hope in her lonely life , Rabi. Later the situation goes in such a way that one by one Kadambari looses every hope to live and she decides to commit suicide.
The screenplay has been written quite well to tell the complicated relationship without stretching it too much. The other characters are there but their track has not been given too much importance which reduces the length of the film. The cultural background of Thakurbari has been shown very well through addas about books and songs. There are some instances about the influence of British culture too.
Suman Ghosh who has worked on stories related with Rabindranath earlier too has treated the controversial subject quite well. Its his representation that while watching it, you can not judge who is right or who is wrong morally. Also when a periodic film is made, a lot of detailing is required to recreate the period and Suman Ghosh's eye for periodic detailing is praiseworthy.
Among the main cast it is Konkona Sensharma who has given a real feeling to every emotion of Kadambari on screen. Her dialogue delivery and body language is just perfect for her character. You can see the pain and loneliness of Kadambari in her eyes. Her silent affection for Rabindranath has been portrayed quite well. There is no doubt, it is one of her career best performance.
Parambrata Chattopadhyay looks perfect as Rabindranath,with long hair and beard . But acting wise he is just okay. He does not have much scope and even where he gets a scope he could not deliver it up to the mark specially when his co-actress is superb.
Always dependable actor Koushik Sen is good and natural as Jyotirindranath Thakur. His expressions are very real , watch him in the scenes where he is uncomfortable for the closeness between his brother and wife but still he can not say anything about it.
Titas Bhowmick is good as Gyonadanandini. Shreelekha Mitra impresses in one scene appearance as Nati Binodini.
The technical team has an added responsibility when they work on a periodic film to represent the period perfectly. The camerawork is nice. Production design is authentic and the costumes are also look well researched. The editing in first half could have been better as in few scenes the jump from one scene to another looks very disjointed.
Provided its a film related to Rabindranath Tagore and Rabindra snageets have been used , it can be said the music could have been better with some better song selection. Only song that works is Vidyapati song "Mah Bhadar". The background score is just okay.
Overall it is well made film about an emotional relationship and with the truth behind the controversy around it. Watch it to know the truth and to see the brilliant acting of Konkona Sensharma in the title role.
After "Vicky Donor" director Shoojit Sircar and story writer Juhi Chaturvedi are back once again with a slice of life comedy about family relationship and emotions and also motions too. Its very well presented film about the relationship between a father and daughter with some solid performances.
The story begins in a family where a 70 year old widower Bhaskor Banerjee (Amitabh Bachchan) lives with his 30 year old daughter Piku(Deepika Padukone). Bhaskor is a bit irritating old man with constipation problem. His behavior is very annoying towards his
relatives, his domestic help , his neighbors. Piku is also very much moody , and always fights with her father. She is frustrated with his father's tantrums. But still the father daughter duo lives together and enjoys being with each other because they love each other too much. Piku is very much conscious about his father's health as she don't want her father to die soon on the other hand Bhaskor don't want her daughter to live her getting married. He is so adamant to stop Piku from getting married that even he does not hesitate to tell a guy that his daughter is not a virgin just to distract that guys attention from her daughter. In such a situation one day this father daughter meet with Rana Choudhary (Irrfan Khan) a taxi service provider from Delhi, who helps the father daughter duo in their journey from Delhi to Kolkata by driving the car. During this journey Rana comes to know the emotions of them and their keen interest about motion and he teaches them a new way to look into the solutions of their age old problem related to constipation. Also he brings a refreshing change to their philosophy about life.
There is nothing much about the story but the way the screenplay has been written by Juhi Chaturvedi, makes it very interesting. The day to day monotonous life of the father and
daughter looks very interesting and the involvement of their relatives also adds some extra entertainment. During the road journey too it could have been a boring long journey but Rana's humorous touch makes it a joy ride. In the second half though the laugh quotient is little less but it was required to draw a conclusion to the story. The climax is a bit slow but it will surely touch your heart.
Juhi Chaturvedi's dialogues are superb and generates laughter every now and then. Specially the dialogues related to constipation problem and the wide range of discussion about poop is very funny.
As a director Shoojit Sircar has done a commendable job. He has chosen a very strange subject and handled it quite well without stretching it too much. As a responsible captain of the ship, he has made sure every person in his cast and crew does the perfect job.
About the actors it can be said each and everyone is just perfect. Only Amitabh Bachhan can make such an irritating character of Bhaskor Banerjee into a loved one. Watch his impromptu jig to the tunes of Bengali song "Jeebane ki pabo na" or in the scene where he
decides to go back to Delhi all of sudden in the middle of the road.
Irrfan Khan is always a delight to watch. He is such a brilliant actor and his comic timing is extraordinary. Even when he is not speaking any dialogue he can make his presence felt with his priceless expressions. Watch him in the scene where he is sitting speechless in the middle of Banerjee family's discussion about their every morning bowel activity.
But the actor who will impress you the most is Deepika Padukone in the title role. She has got a character with enough scope to showcase her talent and she has grabbed this opportunity with full attention. She looks very nice in her deglamorized avatar. She is simply wow in every scene whether she is shouting at her father or she is in tension for her father's health issues or when she is showing her secret affection towards Rana. In every scene she outshines even with the presence of two great actors around her.
The chemistry between Irrfan and Deepika is also very pleasant to watch.
Among the other cast members it is Mousumi Chatterjee as Piku's straight forward foul mouthed aunt. She is brilliant in her small screen appearance.
The music is by Anupam Roy who has made his Bollywood debut as composer with this film. The songs are mostly used in background and it goes very well with the mood of the film. The background score by him also soothing to ears.
The technical team is also in good form. Kamaljeet Negi's camera work is fantastic throughout the journey from Delhi to Varanasee to Kolkata. Chandrashekhar Prajapati’s editing is terrific.
Overall its a film about motions and emotions of relationship and it will surely touch your heart. Go and enjoy the journey with the characters who will win your heart with their powerful performances. It is one of the finest film in recent past which you can enjoy with your whole family.
